Following the launch of the new oversight model, we have made some changes to roles and responsibilities within the LSB to support this. Our new structure has been designed to ensure we maintain our focus on providing effective oversight of how Firms are meeting the Standards while allowing us to develop our advisory services and research capability for the benefit of registered Firms and their customers.
Under our new structure:
Dave Pickering has assumed the position of Chief Executive for the LSB. Liz Thompson, as Head of Compliance, is responsible for implementation and ongoing management of the new oversight programme. Simone Freire is now our Senior Manager focusing on the risk, communication and development elements of our strategy.
There have been three recent additions to the team:
- Anna Roughley, appointed as Lead Manager – Advisory Services, will be developing the advisory services workstream.
- Jenny Moran is our Compliance, Risk and Development Analyst and she will support the implementation of the new oversight model and communications.
- Hannah Adesanya, Trainee Compliance Manager, has joined the existing Compliance team to help support our oversight regime.
As a result of the new structure, we will be making some changes to existing compliance management relationships and this will be communicated separately to Firms.
