Access to Banking Standard summary report

The LSB has today published its first summary report on banks’ application of the Access to Banking Standard. The Standard, implemented following an independent review commissioned by the industry, is designed to ensure that customers are better informed about a branch closure and the reasons behind the decision to close, requiring banks to make customers aware of the options they have locally to continue to access banking services, and provide specialist help for those that need it.
