Promoting fair lending for business customers

Following the launch of the Standards of Lending Practice for personal customers in 2016, the LSB, in partnership with representatives from Registered Firms and the wider industry, has been developing the Standards of Lending Practice for business customers. These will replace the micro-enterprise provisions of the Lending Code.

The new Standards of Lending Practice for business customers will see a change in product scope and the protections extended from micro-enterprise customers to include businesses with a turnover of up to £6.5 million.

Launch event

Lord Prior of Brampton, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, will be formally launching the new Standards together with other keynote speakers who will be talking about the positive change the Standards will bring to the industry, businesses and consumers.

By invitation only, the event will take place on Tuesday 28 March at a central London venue.

If you would like to attend the launch event, please email info@lstdb.org.uk with your full name, email address and the organisation you are representing. Once we have received your details, we will contact you to confirm your booking.
