Harry Hughes - Senior Insight & Support Manager

Harry is the LSB’s Senior Insight & Support Manager and is responsible for creating and executing the LSB’s research and insights strategy. Harry started this role in April 2019, having joined the LSB in July 2017 as a Compliance Manager.

Prior to joining the LSB, Harry worked for US fintech lender AvantCredit, where he managed conduct risk and complaint matters for the UK business. Before that, Harry was a regulatory consultant for KPMG. This involved working on FCA Section 166 reviews and advising businesses on regulatory change and implementing best practice. Harry started his career at the Financial Ombudsman Service as a policy adviser for the consumer credit sector. He is a graduate of Goldsmiths, University of London and holds the ICA’s International Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance. He also holds the Diploma in Retail Banking Conduct of Business (DipRBCB) and the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) from the London Institute of Banking and Finance.
